The T-shaped filter derives its name from its distinctive ‘T’ configuration. It is typically installed vertically or in a submerged position at the inlet of the recovery tank on a floor scrubber. Compared to conventional flat filters, the T-shaped filter utilises its three-dimensional structure to perform efficient solid-liquid separation during wastewater intake. This allows liquid to rapidly pass through the flow channels into the bottom of the waste tank, while trapping solid debris—such as hair, food particles, and crumbs—on the filter surface or within the debris collection channel.
