Stark Future has achieved a record €18.3 million (AUD 30.5 million) monthly revenue and positive EBITDA, rapidly establishing itself as a leading innovator in the electric motorcycle industry with strong global growth and sustainability focus.
Spanish electric motorcycle maker Stark Future has reached a major milestone, posting its highest-ever monthly revenue of €18.3 million (approximately AUD 30.5 million) alongside a positive EBITDA of €2.8 million (around AUD 4.7 million).
As the fastest-growing company in Spain, this achievement highlights the growing viability and sustainability of the electric vehicle market, particularly in two-wheeled machines.
CEO Anton Wass said the milestone is especially impressive considering Stark Future began commercial sales just two years ago. “This achievement comes barely two years after Stark Future’s first commercial sales, remarkably faster than incumbent EV leaders, and more resembling the growth rates of some of the world’s most successful technology firms in history,” he explained. The company’s steady march toward profitability was initially driven by the popularity of the off-road VARG MX, but Wass emphasised the “phenomenal reception” of the newly available Stark VARG EX — the company’s street-legal Enduro model — as a key factor in hitting this landmark result.
While many players in the broader EV industry are facing challenges, Stark Future’s success is a positive sign for both markets and consumers. Wass pointed out that Tesla took nearly 17 years to achieve sustained profitability, often bolstered by billions in regulatory credit sales to other automakers. In contrast, Stark Future’s operations are funded purely through motorcycle sales. Similarly, Chinese EV maker NIO took eight years to reach positive EBITDA, underscoring how rapid Stark Future’s growth has been.
The company’s disciplined approach centres on deep technical vertical integration and a strong focus on sourcing, which has allowed it to develop breakthrough technology at competitive costs while continuing to manufacture in Europe. Wass said, “This result validates our disciplined approach and marks an important step toward consistent profitability.”
Stark Future stated that its core mission remains designing, developing, and producing cutting-edge electric motorcycles that push the boundaries of performance while setting new sustainability standards. The company’s emphasis on operational efficiency and sustainable materials is widely credited with its recent success.
Looking ahead, Chief Technology Officer Paul Soucy outlined the company’s plans to expand its innovation beyond motocross and enduro segments into larger motorcycle categories. “We will continue to innovate at the component level and in the greater model range so electric motorcycles in all categories can outperform traditional machines in every way,” Soucy said.
With a growing global dealer network spanning more than 400 retail locations across over 50 countries, as well as new projects in security and military applications, Stark Future is well-positioned for continued rapid growth and influence in reshaping the future of motorcycling.
