British kitchen tap and sink manufacturer Abode has expanded its boiling water tap range with the launch of Organico, a new model featuring organic-inspired curves and customisable design options, including optional real wood handles.

Designed by Abode Product Managers Dan Biddle and Mark Staweczny, Organico is available in Brushed Brass, Brushed Nickel, Matt Black and Chrome finishes. Customers can choose between standard solid metal handles or upgrade to optional beechwood lever handles to better match their kitchen design.

The tap features a slim profile with soft curves and is designed to deliver instant boiling water or chilled filtered water, depending on the selected model. Safety and efficiency features include a two-stage boiling water safety handle, a cold-start mixer control to reduce unnecessary hot water use, adjustable temperature settings and a scale control filter to help maintain water quality.

Dan Biddle and Mark Staweczny said: "We believe that not everything in the kitchen should be one-size-fits-all. That's not our style. And because personal expression matters, our new Organico range offers customisable design options so customers can achieve a modern aesthetic, which seamlessly pairs with their choice of cabinetry, colour scheme, and mix of materials. Supplied with our all-new PB3X compact boiler, Organico is 1 of 3 customisable boiling water taps now available, which lets the end user personalise the tap finish, handle type, and function whether instant boiling, cold filtered water, or both."

The tap is powered by Abode's new PB3X compact boiler, which provides up to 3 litres of boiling water while occupying a compact footprint beneath the sink. The system also includes intelligent filter management and additional operating functions designed for periods when homeowners are away.

Commenting on the design concept, Biddle and Staweczny added: "As customisable design continues to carve out a niche in the UK kitchen space, end users are seeking the very latest sinks and taps, which can be finished to match individual home décors, popular furniture styles, and essential fixtures and fittings. The reorientation towards personalised design in the kitchen became a major inspiration behind the creation of Organico, as enhancing both home and lifestyle is baked into every Abode tap from concept."

The Organico Boiling Water Tap is priced from £699, while the Organico Boiling & Filtered Water Tap starts from £799, including VAT. The optional Beechwood Handle Pack is available for £49, including VAT.
