Abode has launched the Arkitect Flex Pro Boiling Water & Filter Tap, a multifunctional kitchen tap designed for homeowners who want to combine everyday functionality with a semi-professional aesthetic.

British-designed, the Arkitect Flex Pro delivers instant boiling water from its contemporary spout crossbar, alongside filtered cold water and standard mains hot and cold water. A flexible pull-out spray is designed to support rinsing, washing and food preparation, while the filtered water function aims to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles.
Dan Biddle, Product Manager at Abode, says, "Shaped by the growing desire for multifunctional wet zones that appreciate product solutions, which add style and substance, Arkitect Flex Pro is defined by shape, aesthetic impact, and functional purpose. Enhancing both the form and function of today's most in demand kitchen appliance, Arkitect Flex Pro is a semi-professional kitchen tap, specially designed for UK homeowners that demand pull-around spray functionality with the addition of instant boiling and filtered water on tap."
The tap features an L-shaped spout with crossbar, a single lever and a two-stage cogwheel handle designed to provide controlled delivery of boiling water. It is available in four finishes: Chrome (£899), Brushed Nickel (£989), Matt Black (£989) and Gunmetal (£999).
The Gunmetal finish is the newest option, offering a deep charcoal-grey appearance inspired by aged, burnished steel.
Behind the tap's contemporary design is Abode's new PB3X 3-litre compact boiler, which is intended to free up cupboard space beneath the sink while eliminating the need for a kettle. The boiler provides faster heat-up performance, limescale protection, filter and descaling management, remote functionality, and ECO and boost modes.
The Arkitect Flex Pro also incorporates a precision filter and two-stage safety handle, alongside adjustable temperature settings and controlled water flow.
Abode is part of Norcros, a UK-based supplier of bathroom and kitchen products. The group operates seven brands, including Abode, Triton Showers, Vado, Croydex, Merlyn Showering, Grant Westfield and Fibo, with operations also supported in South Africa.
